Bulk Changes

Leave the single-block editing limitation behind with Lynx’s ability to make mass changes easy. Edit any number of blocks at the same time with your preferred text editor, create and save templates of multi-block standard logic, import previously saved logic, delete or move large amounts code, and much more.

Intuitive User Experience

Our goal is to replace the dated experience of ICC with a new-user friendly experience. With both the natural feel of modern windows applications and a dynamic, live user guide, Lynx walks new and experienced users through the changes process in seconds. Other features include block parameter previews, system wide block search, CP lock monitoring, and more. 

Efficiency Centric Functionality

Controller based changes are central to Lynx, which allows users to make logic edits simultaneously and offline. Users can run multiple instances of Lynx from the Engineering Workstation along side the Foxboro Integrated Control Configurator for a more collaborative programming experience.

System Backup

By default, Lynx will take daily backups of all blocks, sequences and include files. It will then generate daily change logs by comparing data from each day, this allows reports from changes made in ICC as well as Lynx. Each action from every Lynx user is also logged and timestamped, allowing for precise tracking and troubleshooting.

Sequence Editing

No need to hunt for your temporary sequence folder when editing HLBL code. Simply right click to edit your sequence, compile it and review any errors that might pop up. By default, Lynx will upload the sequence block parameters to save the state of the block in case you forget.

System Auditor Integration

Lynx allows the user to easily start and stop the System Auditor Spy service to make consecutive changes even faster, bypassing the need for the system to backup every time a change is made.
