Edit – Exports the selected code (block parameters or sequence code) to your default text editor for easy viewing or editing.
Changes can then be compiled and downloaded to the controller.
Any errors will be displayed to the user.
Template – Exports a copy of the selected blocks to do a quick find-and-replace and download a new set of logic.
Or the user can save the template to be referenced or downloaded at a later time.
Trend – Pulls up a list of parameters for the selected blocks to add to your historian via InSync Service.
This will generate the .xml file to then be loaded into your historian.
Delete – This will allow users to delete the selected blocks.
Lynx can save a copy of deleted blocks to be re-added later if needed.
Upload – Users can do a parameter upload of all blocks selected.
System Auditor Spy windows service can be easily paused/resumed to allow for many changes in succession without interruption from the service.
A locked CP can be unlocked from the user interface in case of a freeze.
User Interface
Auto generated dropdown menus make Lynx the ultimate tool for system navigation.
The universal search bar allows quick access to the entire system.
Selecting a block from the search will take the user right to the compound where it is located.
Users can constantly see which CP’s are free for editing with the built in lock monitor.
The top status bar informs the user on all actions performed and even suggests hints to the user to help them navigate the interface without needing to reference a manual.
Lynx remembers settings for each unique user, allowing engineers to refine their personal experience.
Settings include various interface options as well as functionality options such as automatically uploading a sequence before downloading to save the state of block parameters.
